Characters can change their profession at any time by visiting certified academies on most populated planets. Though switching professions does not reset your progress, it does come at a cost — one that grows with each transition. Your history matters, and each path leaves its mark.

Rerouting your path

Professions are not permanent. A character can re-specialize by paying in credits at any career academy—though the more changes you make, the more expensive it becomes. While your skill levels remain intact, changing profession unlocks access to new tools, bonuses, and gameplay systems tied to your new role.
